NEWSPAPER ADVERTISEMENTS FOR THE MAIER & ZOBELEIN BREWERY, 1900’S

"In the year 1881, at a time when it was thought that no good lager beer could be made in California, Maier & Zobelein secured possession of the famous brewery, which now bears their name, and, after years of diligent toil, succeeded in placing upon the market a quality of beer that is well known from the Pacific to the Atlantic seaboard... The brewery has recently been turned into a corporation, so as to give the employees and friends an opportunity to take a more direct interest in its welfare, and extend its business still further."
